Roundy’s Supermarkets Inc. has teamed up with BP Gas Stations to launch a fuel rewards program throughout Wisconsin.

Beginning Thursday, Pick ‘n Save and Metro Market shoppers can use their Fresh Perks cards when filling up their gas tanks. For every 100 dollars spent on groceries, customers will save 10 cents per gallon on fuel. Each time a shopper spends an additional $100 on groceries they will earn 10 cents more off per gallon.

Spend $400? Earn 40 cents off per gallon, and so on. You can get more information about the program here.

“We are always looking for new and innovative ways to save our customers money and help them find value,” said Jim Hyland, Roundy’s VP of Communications and Public Affairs. “Teaming up with BP allows us to provide even more savings and rewards so our customers can focus on what matters most this holiday season and beyond.”

Once a customer earns 1,000 Fuel Points they will receive $1 off each gallon of gas they purchase at participating BP Stations.

To participate in the fuel rewards program, customers will need to use their Fresh Perks card with every purchase. The program is a points based system that will offer one point for every dollar spent. The offer is redeemable for one purchase of fuel up to 35 gallons.

Double fuel points will be rewarded for purchasing gift cards in-store and fifty points will be added on qualified prescriptions at the pharmacy.

To celebrate this partnership, Pick ‘n Save and BP will also launch a two-week donation program and event to benefit Meals on Wheels. From November 14 through the 28, Pick ‘n Save will donate nutritious meals including soup, fresh fruit and other non-perishables to homebound residents in Southeastern Wisconsin and BP will provide gas gift cards to volunteer drivers of the program.

Shoppers can view their Fuel Points balance any time on their Fresh Perks account on Pick and Save's website.
