The Wisconsin Humane Society is looking for foster families to look after dogs acquired from a troubled location up north.

Forty dogs were seized from the location. Eight are now in the care of the WHS. While the legal process surrounding these dogs works itself out, the Humane Society is in need of people willing to serve as foster families for them.

"As the legal process plays out we cannot pursue adoption at this time. And, so we're looking to get these eight dogs out of the shelter and into foster homes, where they can relax and settle in," VP of Communications for the WHS, Angela Speed, said.

If your family is able to help, or know other families considering fostering a dog, please email the WHS at pvolkert@wihumane.org and someone from the foster team will get in touch with you.
