A Milwaukee man faces multiple felony charges after police say he led them on a wild stolen car car and foot chase that went through a a golf course and shopping mall Sunday.

Elm Grove Police say officers started chasing 19-year-old Marquis King in the stolen vehicle shortly before 11 a.m., and ended up at the Westmoor Country Club in Brookfield after crashing into two other vehicles.

Police dashcam video shows the car trying to squeeze between two other vehicles.

King allegedly got out of the vehicle and ran away from officers with a loaded gun in his hand. Police say he threw the gun into the club's swimming pool, climbed a fence and ran across Moorland Road into Brookfield Square parking lot and attempted to hide underneath a car before running into the mall.

"He ran through The University Book Store, and all the stores are connected, so I guess he was running through the hall," said Deshay Bradley, who works at the mall. "I was scared. I didn't know what was going on. I had just opened up the store."

King ran through a back door and was eventually arrested outside by the Sears store.

King is charged with possession of cocaine and marijuana, eluding an officer in a vehicle, operating without owner's consent and resisting an officer.

Police say he also has an active warrant out in Milwaukee County for disorderly conduct.

He was being held in Waukesha County on $1,500 cash bail.
