WEST ALLIS -- A West Allis police officer is garnering kudos on social media after he stopped to help someone driving on a flat tire.

The West Allis Police Department shared the story on their Facebook page. According to the post, the officer initiated a traffic stop when he noticed a vehicle driving on a flat tire. After checking on everyone's safety, he quickly changed the flat tire and sent the car on its way.

"No tow. No ticket. Just protecting and serving. Kudos on a job well done!" the department's post reads.
