WAUKESHA -- If you think back on your tenth birthday, like any child you likely wanted lots of presents.

All a Waukesha girl wanted was to give back and help animals.

Money raised by Hannah Okel was matched by the 'Bow Wow Buddies Foundation,' totaling more than $4,100.
Through the foundation's medical grant program, sick and injured dogs in need across the country are given a second chance.

"Even though I'm ten I can still do something to help the world," said Hannah Okel, Giving back for her tenth birthday.
Hannah was also given a white lab coat to be a "veterinarian for the day at a Waukesha animal hospital in the future.

She hopes to be a veterinarian when she grows up. If you'd like to learn more about the organization Hannah donated to, follow this link.
