TODAY'S TMJ4'S cameras captured some of the tense moments as police were trying to clear the streets early Sunday morning.
Violence erupted in Milwaukee's Sherman Park neighborhood a few hours after an officer shot and killed a 23-year-old man. Police said the man was fleeing a traffic stop and was armed with a gun.
Police officers were arguing with a group of men who didn't want to move from the intersection of 35th and Fond du Lac when the incident happened.
Officers were having a spirited conversation with two men when a third man standing nearby was tackled.
