TOMAHAWK -- A Lincoln County sheriff's deputy and a Tomahawk police officer got quite the surprise last week when they responded to a 911 call for a bull moose standing in the road.
Someone called the moose in just after 3:00 a.m. Friday morning, saying the creature was standing in the road on N. 4th St.
A sheriff's deputy was in the area, and they followed the Tomahawk officer to the area, where they found the bull moose crossing 4th St. into the parking lot shared by a funeral home and a real estate office.
Thankfully for the moose and the officers - nobody was hurt. Thankfully for us, the incident was caught on dashcam video. It's racked up more than half a million views on Facebook so far.
