Cell phone video obtained by TODAY’S TMJ4 captured the moments leading up to a police shooting near Marquette University Thursday.
The video from witness Destiny Colvin shows officers approaching a man on the roof of a garage at 29th Street and Wisconsin Avenue.
As they get close, you hear several gunshots and then more officers rush in.
The man that was shot was sent to the hospital with serious injuries. The officers were not hurt.
The MPD said the shooting happened after a short chase.
