MILWAUKEE -- A pair of infants died in Milwaukee Tuesday.
The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner confirmed they were called out to Milwaukee’s north side for an infant death.
Police said a 7-week-old girl was found dead in the house. The report came from near the corner of Villard and Medford Avenues. Police announced Wednesday morning they are now investigating the death as a homicide. Two suspects, a 37-year-old woman and a 17-year-old girl, have been arrested in this case.

The Medical Examiner’s Office later tweeted that they were also investigating the death of a 3-month-old infant near the intersection of 11th and Becher on the south side.
The cause of death is not yet known on either infants. Autopsies on both are expected Wednesday.
