Whether they went door to door or participated in one of many organized "Trunk or Treat" events, kids in Southeast Wisconsin didn't miss a trick this Halloween.
Despite the diversity of costumes, the focus of each trick-or-treater was the same: Candy.
"It really warms your heart to see a community come together," said Keith Stanley, the Executive Director of Near West Side Partners. "To see young kids having a really great time."
Stanley organizes the annual "Trunk or Treat" at Our Savior Lutheran's Church in Milwaukee. After going trunk to trunk for candy, kids could go inside for story time, pumpkin painting, and face painting.
