Thousands of We Energies customers were left without power in southeast Wisconsin Wednesday afternoon.

As of about 10 p.m. Wednesday, We Energies is reporting that about 6,000 customers are without power. More than half of those outages are in Milwaukee County.
A We Energies spokesperson says high winds and down power lines are causing most of the outages. We Energies has all possible crews out working to restore power outages. We Energies' customers can track power outages here

We Energies is asking the public to stay away from any down power lines and report them immediately. To report a power outage, click here.
