An off-duty Thiensville police officer was involved in a Sunday night crash on I-43 southbound near Locust Street, according to the Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened around 9 p.m. The crash forced two lanes of the freeway to close while the wreck was removed.
The Sheriff's Office says the crash was "minor" and was due to a medical emergency. The officer involved in the crash was transported to nearby hospital and their condition is unknown at this time.
No other information has been released.
