MILWAUKEE -- Looking for a place to take Mom this Sunday? If your budget is feeling tight, look no further than the Milwaukee County Zoo.
All mothers will receive free admission to the zoo Sunday, May 8th, courtesy of Lifeway Foods, the zoo's website says. Lifeway Foods will also offer free samples to zoo guests.
The promotion is running in conjunction with an annual event in support of Orangutan Outreach and their annual "M.O.M." (Missing Orangutan Mothers) event. The event is meant to draw attention "to the incredibly long and close relationship between orangutan mothers and babies."
The day will feature activities for children, craft items for sale, and conservation information.
