WEST ALLIS-- Authorities responded to a electrical fire near the West Junction Substation in West Allis about 8:30 p.m. Saturday, causing bright lights to illuminate the night sky.
The We Energies outage map indicated that nearly 2,500 people were without power as of 9 p.m. Saturday in the area of 97th & Rogers. Several witnesses said that the electrical fire caused power lines to light up the sky shortly after the fire occurred.
