WEST BEND -- Washington County Deputies were called to a break-in and found a turkey tearing up a home.
A West Bend family was inside the home when they heard a loud crash and found a turkey was in their second story bedroom.
Video of Deputy Scott Nauman and his partner releasing the turkey has blown up online with comments.
"’I can’t believe that free food walked into your home and you just let it go,' I thought that was a pretty funny response," Nauman said.
Deputies found the turkey destroying the bedroom. They quickly grabbed a blanket and safely extricated the bird unharmed into the homeowner's backyard.

The family who live inside the home is thankful the entire ordeal is over with.
