MILWAUKEE -- Wisconsin's largest city is one of the best in the nation for celebrating the 4th of July, according to a new report from personal finance website WalletHub.
Milwaukee came in 8th place on the list, which considered 16 key metrics, including how long fireworks shows last, hotel prices, and the weather forecast. You can see the report's complete methodology here.
Beating out the Brew City for Independence Day revelry were cities like Seattle, Minneapolis, and New Orleans. Laredo, Texas earned the dubious distinction of being the worst place out of the 100 large U.S. cities studied to spend your July 4th.
