Two Racine sisters, Synell and Alexis Nelson, were born 15 months apart. Surprisingly, they had their babies on the same day, October 13, within two hours of each other - at the same hospital.

They promise it wasn’t a plan. Jordan Liggins and Wylie Nelson are their sons' names.

“We’re always together,” Alexis said. “We loved being pregnant together.”

With Kool-Aid smiles on their faces, both mothers are praying their sons will be best friends, just like their mothers.

“She called me and told me she was pregnant first,” said, Synell. “Like it’s amazing. It’s just cool to me.”

“Hopefully they’re together and they like being together and they’re not fighting all the time," said Alexis.

The Nelson sisters say this experience has drawn them closer together. They hope for the same special bond between their sons.
