TOWN OF WEST BEND -- A 19-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after he attempted to egg a squad car but missed, police say.
Officers pulled over a car for a minor traffic violation around 12:30 a.m. Wednesday morning, according to a post from the Jackson Police Department. A few minutes later, that car was hit by eggs. Because the suspect was drunk and "expressed dislike for police," it's believed that the squad car was his intended target.
A 15-minute chase ensued as the suspect tried to hide "behind buildings or in weeds." He was eventually arrested for resisting/obstructing an officer, as well as bail jumping.
Officers say the teen had been out on bond since February 1st after being charged with possession and abuse of hazardous substances. A hearing had been scheduled for that offense for Wednesday afternoon, according to police.
