Police: 3-year-old's death in Racine considered a homicide

RACINE -- The death of a 3-year-old in Racine is being considered a homicide, according to police. 

According to Sgt. Adam Malacara, police were called to the 1800 block of Howe St. just before 6:30 a.m. Wednesday after a report that somebody was found dead in that area. The 3-year-old's body was found in the upper unit of a home, he said in a news release.

There's no information yet available on the child's identity, or how they died.
