Milwaukee Police have identified the victim of an early morning stabbing on the lower east side Monday.

Shawn Ostrom, 32, was stabbed at about 12:45 a.m. in the 1700 block of N. Pulaski Street.

TODAY’S TMJ4 has learned that Ostrom was a chef at the Pfister Hotel.

Laurie Hobbs of Marcus Hotels & Resorts issued the following statement:

"We are very saddened to learn of the news about the incident on Brady Street early yesterday morning, and the passing of Shawn Ostrom. We have lost one of our respected colleagues and work family members, and our hearts and prayers go out to his family and friends."

Two suspects, a 45-year-old Oak Creek man and a 20-year-old Greenfield man were arrested in connection with the crime.

Police said Monday that the victim and his attackers knew each other.
