CEDARBURG -- Two people went to the hospital Sunday night after a car jumped onto the curb, hitting them.
Now police tell TODAY'S TMJ4 that the driver was under the influence of drugs and may face charges.
Police said a white pick-up truck and silver Ford Escape crashed at speeds less than 30 miles per hour around 5:20 p.m. Sunday.
Groups of people were leaving the festival, which ended at 5 p.m. Police report the crash resulted in the truck jumping the curb, hitting two people.
Witnesses said they heard tires squealing and screams. They saw people, including police officers, running toward the scene.
"Witnesses were quite shocked from what they saw," said Sgt. John Stroik of Cedarburg Police.
One of the drivers, who witnesses said was the driver of the white truck, was arrested. Police wouldn't confirm which driver it was or why the arrest was made, but said they don't believe alcohol or speed are factors.
