KENOSHA -- House speaker Paul Ryan delivered the commencement speech at Carthage College in Kenosha on Sunday.
His speech focused on continuing to learn after college, the importance of a positive attitude and faith.
Ryan also urged the graduates to embrace life’s detours.
“Don’t worry too much about the plan,” he said. “Go where you can make a difference.”
Ryan backed his point with a look into his own journey from college to becoming Speaker of the House.
