Chin up, Wisconsinites. You're not as bad at spelling as you think you are.

The Dairy State population's status as competent spellers was called into question Tuesday after a viral graphic from Google on the most misspelled words in every state seemed to indicate that "Wisconsin" was Wisconsin's most misspelled word.

While a bit of self-deprecation can be good for one's humility, there was no need for the hundreds of shares and retweets reveling in the schadenfreude of not being able to spell your own state of residence. As it turns out, Wisconsin's actual most misspelled word is "tomorrow," as indicated in data from Google sent to TODAY'S TMJ4 and reported Tuesday by USA TODAY.

One or two Ms? How about the Rs? "Tomorrow" makes much more sense as a word Wisconsinites might Google how to spell, and matches up with at least one other state in the nation - Arizona.

So why all the confusion? We're waiting to hear back officially from Google, but most likely, they just forgot to remove the label from the map when they were making it.

Spell on, Wisconsin.
