MILWAUKEE – A 11-month old girl and her 27-year-old mother were killed in a double fatal car accident early Monday morning in Milwaukee, the Medical Examiner says.
The crash happened around 1:15 a.m. at the intersection of 35th Street and Capitol.
Milwaukee police say a 22-year-old man was driving a Honda CRV westbound on Capitol Drive, ran a red light and struck the victim's car.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the scene.
The suspect was later taken into custody at a local hospital.
Milwaukee police say their investigation is ongoing.
