MILWAUKEE -- Monday will be the last day more than 2,000 fencers will duel in the North American Cup and National Championships.
TODAY'S TMJ4 met a female fencer competing, who is from Wisconsin.
14-year-old Liz Gorka is from Kenosha. This young lady loves the challenge of fencing, especially against a male competitor.
"Oh yeah it especially feels good when they're like overconfident like oh shes just a girl," said Liz Gorka, Kenosha teen.
This is a lot harder than it looks. Liz describes how you must be in a squat for almost three minutes at a time while moving.
She hopes to go to college and compete in the 2024 Olympics.
