GREENDALE -- A teenage girl that has been missing since Monday, August 1 has been found safe.
Greendale police said 14-year-old Danielle Wegner was found 3 a.m. Thursday in Minneapolis.
Officials said she is perfectly fine, but would not say how she was located.
Wegner left home Monday afternoon with $200 in cash and a backpack.
"She and I had a disagreement that morning and I think out of an impulsive need to vent her anger left that afternoon," Danielle's mother said on Wednesday. "I don't think her intention was to run away long-term."
Dozens of people combed a wooded area behind her house on Wednesday. Volunteers also hung up flyers across southeast Wisconsin.
