WAUPUN, Wis. –A reported endangered, missing Waupun manwas found dead Monday night, the Barron County Sheriff's Office said.
Ryan Mitchell, 31, was found dead by sheriff's deputies in a wooded area outside a church in Dallas, Wisconsin. The Sheriff's Office says his death appears to be a suicide.
Mitchell was last seen Saturday morning around 7 a.m. at Waupun Memorial Hospital. His mother, Sue Mitchell told WKOW-TV, that her son had been asking police for help because he was feeling suicidal.
Authorities allowed him to drive himself to another medical facility in Fond du Lac but he never showed up.
