MILWAUKEE -- The City of Milwaukee held a vigil Monday evening in light of the horrific events that unfolded Sunday in Orlando; a mass shooting at a gay nightclub that took 49 lives.
Mayor Tom Barrett hosted the community vigil. Representatives from the LGBT Community Center attended, and invited everyone to join them.
The vigil began shortly after 7 p.m. at City Hall, at the corner of N. Water St. and E. Wells St. It was followed by a moment of silence around 7:30 p.m. to show support for everyone affected by the massacre.
