A Meijer truck filled with thousands of toys showed up to Bayshore Town Center early Thursday morning.
The Superstore is donating more than 4,000 toys to The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Milwaukee.
This is the third year Meijer is teaming up with the organization to make sure every club member has a present to open this holiday.
"We have play-doh and legos so good learning toys and just brand new toys from Meijer," said Telemachus Rafaelidys with the Boys and Girls Club.
Many of the young members with the Boys & Girls Club come from families where household budgets have little
room for holiday gifts. Meijer is donating a variety of toys.
On December 10, more than 150 volunteers will gather for a Gift Wrap Party event in the Bayshore Town
Center Rotunda to wrap the donated toys. All donated gifts will then be delivered to the 43 Boys & Girls Club locations where they will be given to Club members during holiday parties.
