A body was pulled from the Milwaukee River near Range Line and Dean Roads in River Hills Tuesday, according to River Hills Police.

Authorities are trying to determine if the body is Jacquelyn Ranallo, who was reported missing to Mequon police back in November of 2015.

"We believe its a female body autopsy will be performed tomorrow and make a positive identification," said Sergeant Milton Mrozak, River Hills Police.

The body was discovered by two bicyclists who stopped on the Range Line Road bridge. The bicyclists then flagged down a passing police officer, according to officials.

The North Shore Fire Department then retrieved the body, which was turned over the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner.

Police say there is currently no threat to the public.

The case is currently under investigation by the Mequon and River Hills police departments and the Wisconsin Department of Justice's division of criminal investigation (DCI).
