CALEDONIA -- Caledonia police want to find a man who allegedly stole 1,300 gallons of gas.
Officials said he has hit the same gas station three times. The incidents happened between 12:30 a.m. and 2:30 a.m. on July 25, July 27 and August 3 at the BP at 7 Mile and Frontage roads.
During each incident, a large, bright red, paneled Chevy van pulls up to the gas pump and the suspect uses a device to bypass the credit card reader to activate the pump.
Then, suspect places the nozzle inside of the van, filling large holding tanks.
