Man busted using fake money to buy feminine hygiene products

ELM GROVE -- It's going to take real money to get this guy out of jail.
 
Kelvon Rederford, 31, of Milwaukee was busted for trying to pass off a fake $100 bill while attempting to buy feminine hygiene products at a Walgreens in Elm Grove.
 

Elm Grove police said he was a suspect in similar investigations in Brookfield, New Berlin and Wauwatosa. 

Rederford has been charged with three felony counts of uttering a forged document, as well as carrying a concealed knife and possession of a synthetic cannabinoid. 

His bond is set at $500.
