Local immigrant rights group Voces de la Fontera says President Donald Trump's executive order on family separation at the U.S.-Mexico border doesn't go far enough.

Executive Director Christine Neumann-Ortiz said, "This executive order does nothing to address the moral crisis that is happening right now... it actually continues this process of indefinite detention."

Neumann-Ortiz says in many cases family members from countries like Guatemala, El Salvador, and Honduras are trying to make it to the U.S., even Wisconsin.

"It’s an issue that impacts us here in Wisconsin as well, with families that have ties to people at the border who are trying to reunite with their families and flee violence," said Neumann-Ortiz.

Voces de la Frontera is holding a rally Thursday in front of the Milwaukee US Immigration and Customs Enforcement Office.

The group expects hundreds of people to show up to the rally.
