The “Slender Man” trial will be held in Waukesha County, despite efforts from attorneys to move the case due to publicity.
Morgan Geyser and her attorney were in court Monday to ask to move the case, however, a judge denied the request, along with another request asking to suppress any statements Geyser made to police immediately after her arrest.
Geyser and another girl are accused to stabbing their classmate 19 times to please fictional internet character “Slender Man.”
The trial is scheduled to start in October. Similar requests for the other girl involved, Anissa Wier, are set for next week.
