Back for its 25th season, Jazz in the Park returns to Cathedral Square in Milwaukee on June 2, promising a full range of diverse music styles for its 2016 Summer concert series.
The free evening concert series will take place in Cathedral Square Park on Thursday evenings from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. (Happy Hour 5 p.m. to 6 p.m.) through September 1. This year’s schedule will feature a variety of music styles, including jazz, big band, funk, R&B, reggae, blues and Latin, according to event organizer East Town Association, Inc.
Local band Milwaukee Soulkicks off the 2016 concert series Thursday, playing 60's-70's Motown & soul music.
