An inmate jailed on gun charges escaped from Milwaukee's Marshall Sherrer Correctional Center.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Corrections, minimum security inmate Clemente Lamont Alexander, Sr. is missing from the facility.
Alexander was serving a two-year sentence for a felony charge of possession of a firearm.
Alexander is described as a black male, 5-feet-8 inches tall, 178 pounds with brown eyes and black hair. He was born in 1981.
Anyone with information on Alexander's whereabout is asked to contact local law enforcement.
The Marshall Sherrer Correctional Center is located at 1318 N. 14th St.
It's not clear how Alexander escaped.
