Greenfield police said Tuesday they have a man in custody in connection with a brutal apparent carjacking that left one Milwaukee area woman badly beaten.
The police said in a news release the suspect stole another car, and that they later were able to identify it near First and Beecher Streets. The suspect fled after officers tried to pull the suspect over.
The suspect crashed the car in the chase, and after trying to run away police caught and arrested the suspect.
We are not naming the suspect at this time because they have not yet been charged.
