Fond du Lac man dies in weekend motorcycle crash

Police: Speed and alcohol contributing factors

A 28-year-old Fond du Lac man has died as a result of a motorcycle crash, according to Fond du Lac police.

The victim was pronounced dead Sunday at 6:15 a.m. at Theda Clarke Regional Medical Center, according to authorities.

Police say they believe speed and alcohol were contributing factors in the accident.

The incident occurred June 12 around 2:49 a.m. on Forest Ave. and S. Berger Parkway in Fond du Lac.
The motorcycle left the road and struck multiple trees, according to police.
 
The accident remains under investigation.
