GLENDALE -- Employees at a Glendale pizza restaurant are asking for the public’s help identifying a woman who stole a donation jar from their restaurant.
It happened Thursday around 12:30 p.m. at the Jet’s Pizza, located at: 6813 N Green Bay Ave.
Surveillance video shows the woman taking the donation jar in front of the cash register and putting it in her purse.
Jim Rodriguez, one of the restaurant owners, tells TODAY’S TMJ4 the donation jar was for Alzheimer's research. He is unsure how much money was in the jar when it was stolen. He says that the most that was collected in jar was around $60.
Rodriguez says it's frustrating for his staff since most of them put their cash tips inside the donation jar.
Anyone who recognizes this woman or has information about this crime should contact police.
