Delavan police released security footage of the suspected theft of two baby lynx from a local petting zoo Wednesday.

Police are asking the public to be on the lookout for a Dodge Ram 1500 Rumble Bee, with a yellow scoop on the hood, likely a 2004 or 2005 model. Authorities say a truck like that is rare, with less than 3,000 black ones nationwide.

Workers at the Animal Gardens petting zoo noticed the two 8-week-old Siberianlynx, Mowgli and Baloo, were missing on the night of July 3. Surveillance video captured a black truck pulling off the grounds.

Police issued this stock image of what the truck looks like. This is not a picture of the truck used in the suspected theft.

The owners are offering a $1,000 reward for the safe return of the animals.
