The body of a man found near Madison Park in Wauwatosa Thursday morning has been identified as 52-year-old Carl Roberson of Milwaukee, according to the Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office.
Roberson's body was discovered by a passerby around 8 a.m. Thursday in a small creek. He was found lightly clothed and frozen.
On Wednesday, Roberson fled when he saw Wauwatosa police who were responding to a burglary/stalking complaint.
He was last seen heading into a creek near Madison Park.
Multiple law enforcement agencies helped set-up a perimeter around the area but were unable to find him.The medical examiner believes he hid from police and became hypothermic from the water temperature.
