Beaver Dam Police report a body was found in the Beaver Dam River Saturday afternoon.
Authorities received a 911 call shortly after 2pm about the discovery.
Two kayakers found the body south of Cooper Street and north of Highway 151, this is within the city limits of Beaver Dam.
Police, Dodge County Sheriff's Office and the Beaver Dam Fire Department responded to the scene.
The Dodge County Medical Examiner was also called to the location.
The identity of the person found won't be released until family has been notified.
The exact cause of death is unknown.
