Body camera video shows what unfolded immediately after Jermaine Claybrooks was shot and killed by two police officers and a federal agent on March 16.
Video obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request by TODAY’S TMJ4 shows officers surrounding Claybrooks car on 19th Street, unsure if he’s alive or dead.
A neighbor hiding in her basement called 911 after shots were fired.
When officers approached his body, Claybrooks continued to grip a gun in his hand.
In addition to the gun in Claybrook’s grip, a police report said he was found with 148 grams of heroin, 70 grams of marijuana, 50 grams of oxycodone and $30,000.
