MILWAUKEE -- The death of an inmate at the Milwaukee County Jail has been ruled a homicide.

Terrill Thomas, 38, of Milwaukee, died on April 24, 2016.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office made the ruling on Thursday.

They said Thomas' cause of death was dehydration and his autopsy examination revealed no evidence of injury.

Thomas was arrested April 15 after shooting a man in the chest and later firing two shots in the Potawatomi casino.
