RIVER HILLS -- Police identified the body found in the Milwaukee River on Tuesday.

The body is that of Jacquelyn Ranallo, 53, who was reported missing to Mequon police in November 2015.

The identification was made through dental records provided by the Mequon Police Department.

Ranallo's body was discovered by two bicyclists who stopped on the Range Line Road bridge near Range Line and Dean roads in River Hills.

Ranallo was reported missing on November 21, but no one had heard from her since Wednesday, November 18.

"She was reported as missing when she did not show up for a dinner date [that] Saturday evening,” said Mequon Police Sergeant Matt Pearce said in November. "Her car, purse, and keys were all accounted for at her residence."

An autopsy was performed and no trauma was found.

The cause of death is pending further toxicology and testing.
