MILWAUKEE -- An 89-year-old Milwaukee woman is in custody for allegedly stabbing her 68-year-old son Wednesday night.
Police were called at approximately 7 p.m. Wednesday to a house near Stack Drive and Kinnickinnic River Parkway.
Officials said the son lives with his mother and is the one who called 911.
It's still unclear why she stabbed him.
"When I found out the mom had stabbed the son, I thought okay. I know my other neighbor says they've had issues before and police have had to come out," says neighbor Mary Rodriguez.
The victim was taken to the hospital with a serious injury but is expected to be okay.
