24-year-old maintenance worker killed in Greenfield shed explosion, fire

GREENFIELD -- A 24-year-old maintenance worker has died after an explosion and fire in a Greenfield shed, according to police.

It happened in the 7000 block of W. Southridge Dr. just before 10:00 a.m. Thursday. Investigators were still on the scene as of 12:00 p.m. Police say the shed is used to store lawnmowers and maintenance equipment. 

The man was found outside of the shed badly burned. He was taken to the hospital, where he later died.
