TOWN OF ERIN -- Two people were seriously injured after being ejected from their motorcycle in the Town of Erin Sunday afternoon.
The wreck happened at approximately 4 p.m. on County Highway K at Shamrock Lane.
According to the Washington County Sheriff's Office, the motorcycle driver was going north on County Highway K when he slowed down to make a right turn onto Shamrock. Authorities said a vehicle also going north struck the motorcycle as it was slowing down.
The driver and passenger of the motorcycle suffered serious injuries and were taken to the hospital.
The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
Authorities are investigating the crash but do not believe impairment or speed are contributing factors.
