Police ID men killed in Milwaukee crash

MILWAUKEE -- Two innocent men are dead, killed by someone allegedly driving a stolen car.
 
The two men have been identified as Darrell K. Thompson, 58, of Milwaukee and Terry J. Jackson, 57, of Milwaukee.

A man who says his father owns the car tells TODAY'S TMJ4 his dad put on his big fur jacket and headed out.

He wasn't sure where he was going but he never imagined he would not see him again. 

Milwaukee Police say at 9:30 a.m. someone spotted a stolen Kia. When they tried to pull it over, it drove off. The police didn't follow. But it the car was ultimately found six blocks away crashed into the Malibu, killing the men inside.

"We are investigating the stolen auto as well as the subsequent fatal accident," says Captain Jutiki Jackson, Milwaukee Police Department.

The stolen car belonged to Jasmine Moore's sister. They had been searching for it around Milwaukee. Moore said a friend of her sister's, another woman, had taken it. 

"She ended up hitting somebody and killing them, now she's going to face charges," Moore says.

The family of one of the victims wants people to know he was a loving and kind man. He was a father to give children and had multiple grandchildren.

Police took the two women in the stolen car to the hospital and they are in serious condition. The driver of the car faces charges of hit and run causing death, homicide by negligent operation of a vehicle and operating after suspension causing death.
