WEST BEND -- People in West Bend were left shaking their heads after a Baby Jesus figure was stolen from a Nativity Scene.
Police found the baby across the street Sunday morning with its arm ripped off and head still missing.
City leaders received the remains Monday. Anna Jensen with Downtown West Bend Association was speechless.
"I mean we can fix the hand but there’s no way to replace a head like that," Jensen said.
Gifted in the 1960's, the nativity was imported from Germany and has undergone a lot of TLC.
The Baby Jesus was stolen in the 1970's and Donkey in 2013. Both were returned intact, back then.
